Kevlar bow guard for lamination with epoxy resin.

Approximately 2mm thick Kevlar felt fleece for whitewater canoe made of ROYALEX® or laminate.

Is laminated with epoxy resin. The boat has to be roughly sanded!

Therefore, do not mount the protective strip until the stems are already heavily worn.

The boat gets slower on calm water due to the rough fleece!

Therefore, the assembly is only appropriate for whitewater boats, rental and club boats for rough use or repair.

You can also press the strips down during curing with tear-off fabric.

Then the fleece is pretty smooth.

2 kevlar fleece strips:

     75cm long
     6.5-11cm wide
     13g per pair
     about 2mm thick without resin

You also need:

     West system junior pack epoxy, at least 600g,
     Latex gloves,
     Cup,
     Brush,
     Sandpaper!
