Smart deck eyelet that is fitted as standard on some boats.
Very popular because it can be easily retrofitted.
It is fastened with an M5 screw.
The eyelet is made of black plastic, screwed to the deck without any sharp edges and has two integrated rope guides.
It fits rubber or rope with 5mm Ø loosely in the guides. 6mm fits very tightly.

How to calculate the required screw length:
12mm height in the eye + wall thickness of the boat + height of the sealing washer (= 3mm) + height of the stop nut (usually 5mm) = screw length
This is usually 20mm plus the wall thickness. A PE kjak has a wall thickness of approx. 5mm, a laminate boat 2-5mm (depending on the position of the reinforcements).
So M5x25 raised countersunk head screws are often a good choice.
