Spiral hose for the connection from the bilge pump to the throat.
Spiral hose for the connection from the bilge pump to the throat.
The hose is slid onto the outlet port of the pump and fixed there with a hose clamp.
The hose should lead to the passage in loops. There it is also secured with a hose clamp.
The hose should be routed so that it cannot kink.
Too much hose reduces the pumping capacity and increases the pressure on the check valve.
Too little hose hampers installation, adjustment and maintenance work.
Very soft, thin, dark gray hose with spiral reinforcement.
The pump can be easily moved on the hose. The hose allows almost all bending radii.
Be careful with cuts and abrasions on the hose. The actual wall thickness is quite delicate.
1mm wall thickness without spiral, approx.2.5mm wall thickness with spiral.
